DBA’s trademarked T3 slot design represents a performance upgrade over the proven T2 design—engineered for drivers who demand greater braking consistency under higher loads and more aggressive driving conditions.
Building on the foundation of T2, the advanced tri-symmetrical slot configuration increases the number of out-gassing exit points across the rotor surface. This enhances the evacuation of friction gases, dust, and debris from the pad-to-rotor interface, reducing the risk of pad glazing and maintaining consistent braking performance when it matters most.
The patented bi-directional slot design means each T3 rotor fits either side of the vehicle, eliminating the need to identify left- or right-specific parts. This simplifies installation, reduces the risk of fitment errors, and ensures the same high level of performance on both sides.
T3 also improves on T2’s noise and refinement characteristics, with the slot pattern helping to dampen vibration harmonics. The result is quieter operation, along with a smoother and more responsive pedal feel.
